Each season we hold a new home ice cream making class in our creamery taught by Carmela Ice Cream founders, Jessica Mortarotti and Zachary Cox.
We go over the basics of creating ice cream and sorbet bases at home from start to finish - with demonstrations and tastings of each. We also go over flavor inspiration, utilizing local farmers market produce and pairing ideas.
Fall is one of our favorite ice cream seasons at Carmela. We will be making Cardamom ice cream and Pear Champagne sorbet. Each student will get to take home one pint of each flavor. All classes will be taught at our PASADENA location.
